Until recently, I was a FuzziBunz virgin. Shocking, I know, considering I’ve been cloth diapering since February 2008. I got my hands on a FuzziBunz one size diaper back in October.
Since it was a one size diaper, I expected to see the usual row of snaps on my other muilti-size pockets. Not with this diaper. FuzziBunz are size adjusted with the elastic in the leg gussets. There are really clear instructions right on the packaging that help you ensure a perfect fit. Not only that, but they also include an EXTRA set of elastic. Smart.
Most of you know by now I have a preemie. At almost 6 months old she is barely 11 pounds (FuzziBunz recommend a range of 7-35), so of course, I was concerned about a good fit. She’s pretty small and doesn’t have the typical baby chub of her peers. Lucky for me the leg casings adjust to 8+ settings and the waist adjusts to 4+ settings. So I adjusted the leg gussets, stuffed the FuzziBunz PUL and fleece pocket with the included microfiber insert (they come with two, and infant and toddler size) and cautiously snapped the purple goodness on Quincy and hoped there wouldn’t be a poop explosion.

Well, of course there was. All cloth diapering moms know the fastest way to baby poop is a brand new fluffy diaper. I am happy to report that the poop was contained, despite me pushing the limits of how small I could make those adjustable openings. A rinse with the diaper sprayer and we were waiting for a laundry load to try the diaper out again.
I’m happy to report a few uses later we’ve had no leaks and always a happy baby. I haven’t braved the overnight test yet… soon though!
I’ve since added FuzziBunz to Quincy’s Christmas wish list, so here’s to hoping that Santa is reading!
FuzziBunz gave me one of their one size diapers for the purpose of this review, I was not compensated for this post and the opinion here remains my own.

I love fb OS dipes!! Lyla wears hers over night with both inserts. no leaks ever with 12+ hours of wear!!
