The first time I saw the Svan Play-with-Me was at the Scandinavian Child booth at the ABC Kids Expo in 2009. Sebby was barely old enough to use it. I even featured it in last years holiday gift guide. Yesterday, after years of coveting, the FedEx man brought Sebby and Quincy a very special delivery.
It took Quincy less than 5 minutes to realize that she could climb up into one of the sturdy little chairs and sit at the table all by herself. It’s pretty adorable. And last night, after dinner, oh so briefly, both Sebby and Quincy were sitting at their new little table. Was I able to get a photo? Of course not!
Needless to say, the kids love it! Quincy will happily sit and play, eat snacks and have her special movie time! Sebby likes to line up all of his cars on the table and “feed them snacks” It’s a hit!
In addition to 3 chairs for the littles in your life, there is also a stool so you can sit with your children (or grandchildren) at this sweet little table and you guessed it, play with them! Don’t worry, the table, chairs and stools have a 250 lb weight limit!
One of my favorite things about all of the furniture I’ve received from Scandinavian Child is it’s so simple to put together. I very rarely need tools outside of the hex key they provide with their instructions. What this means for you is if you decide the Play-with-Me is the perfect holiday gift, you won’t be digging for a phillips head screwdriver at 2am. You won’t need it. It’s crafted of high-quality, solid birch wood, and comes in three finishes, so you’ll find the perfect one for your home.
The Svan Play-with-Me Table and Chairs Set is a wonderful addition to our home. I know my children and their friends will use it for years to come. The high quality construction means it will last through many tea parties, lego construction and play dates.
